  1. Good use of camera angles and narrative to help create the atmosphere. May be helped by using few more different effects.

  2. A really good opening sequence I really like how the music creates a tense and mysterious atmosphere, I also think the text stlye used was very appropriate as although it was quite plain it promoted a more mature and professional style. There was a good variety of camera angles used and made it interesting to watch.

The voice over added to the opening sequence worked really well and ensured that the meaning and storyline for your film was clear whilst making it much more tense and strange.

To improve increasing the speed of the strobe may look more effetive and fading the music out at the end may also work but over all very good !

  3. Like the plot of the opening. The unknown caller of the phone also makes it very spooky. I think that it would have been more clearer if the actor had the phone with her because it confused me a bit when she had to keep going up the stairs.
    well done

  4. The shots over the shoulder of the TV out of focus works really well and gives it an eery feeling, also the sound of the television adds to the effect as it sounds kind of distorted. All the shots were steady, and there was a good variety of shots. All of the material was appropriate for the theme, another good thing was when the screen flashes. The music and sound effects worked well.

However, towards the end I kind of lost track of what was going on and became a little confused, so to improve on the film you could maybe make the story line a bit clearer. Also at the end the girl is already upstairs but then it cuts to her being chased up the stairs when we hadn't seen her go down the stairs beforehand.

  5. Good choice of music, the voice over creates tension as well as making the situation clear. The effects you have added make the scenes confusing which adds to the atmosphere. I think you could have added more sound effects for improvement as the ones you did add worked really well.

  6. This video was very well thought of, and it shows in your work. The music goes very well with the piece and so does the voiceover. It really gives it a eery feeling, which makes the audience want to watch on. The actors really help to create that eery feeling, so well done

  7. Hello Tom,

Really like the effects you have used, and the voice over works really well and make the story line allot clearer, however a few more camera angles and shots would add to the atmosphere of the story line.
